NOTSORY FOXBODY MUSTANG - A JAMIE JEFFREYS BUILD
The heart of the beast is a Vortech-blown big-block that churns out a staggering 2500hp at the wheels on 40psi of boost. While that number alone is enough to turn heads, what’s even more impressive is how effortlessly the combination performs without breaking a sweat.
Jamie’s love for the car started years ago. “I’ve always been drawn to the Foxbody shape” he says. “There’s something about the way they look that just screams power. When I first started building this car, I knew I wanted it to stand out, not just visually but also on the dyno.”
To achieve his goals, Jamie enlisted the help of some of the best in the business. The engine build was entrusted to BES Racing Engines, who crafted a reliable, high-horsepower 637 cube big-block capable of handling extreme boost. The choice of a Vortech supercharger was deliberate. “I wanted something that made big power but was still streetable. The Vortech unit gives me that perfect mix of drivability and performance,” Jamie explains.
The result is a car that not only looks the part but also performs like no other. From the aggressive stance to the immaculate engine bay, every inch of Jamie’s Foxbody exudes quality craftsmanship and attention to detail.

Inside, the Foxbody is all business. A custom roll cage built by Spot On Performance ensures safety while adding to the tough aesthetic, and the stripped-out interior keeps the focus purely on performance. Even the smallest details, like the fire extinguisher and race harness, highlight Jamie’s dedication to both form and function.
Out back, the rear end is just as serious, also fabricated by Spot On Performance, with a fully built suspension setup designed to put all 2500hp to the ground. “There’s no point making big power if you can’t use it,” Jamie says with a grin.
Looking ahead, Jamie has no plans to slow down. “I’m always looking for ways to make the car better, faster, and more reliable. That’s the beauty of this sport—there’s always another goal to chase, another barrier to break.”
For now, though, Jamie is content to enjoy the fruits of his labor. “I built this car to make me happy, and that’s exactly what it does. Every time I fire it up, it puts a smile on my face. You can’t ask for more than that.”
Whether it’s dominating on the dyno, turning heads at car shows, or simply cruising the streets, Jamie’s Foxbody Mustang is a true testament to what can be achieved with the right vision, hard work, and a serious addiction to horsepower.
